Clean lines define a premium garden. Our edging work separates planting from paving, creates defined garden beds, and gives every space a finished, intentional look that holds up over time.

Steel Edging
Timber Edging
Edging is one of the details that separates a well-built garden from an average one. It creates clear boundaries between lawn, garden beds, and paving, prevents migration over time, and gives the whole space a considered, resolved look. We install FormBoss steel edging across a full range of profiles, including curved runs and circular rings for feature garden beds, as well as Merbau timber edging where a warmer material suits the design. All edging is properly pegged, levelled, and finished flush with the surrounding surfaces.

Edging controls the line between lawn, garden beds, gravel and paved surfaces. A consistent edge makes mowing and maintenance easier, helps loose materials stay where they belong and gives the landscape a deliberate finished shape. We set out straight runs, curves and circular beds to suit the geometry of the garden before installation begins.
FormBoss steel edging is a strong option for fine lines, sweeping curves and low-maintenance borders. Timber edging brings more visual weight and warmth, particularly beside hardwood decks, raised beds and natural planting schemes. The right profile and finish depend on the surrounding levels, the material being retained and the character of the wider project.
We install edging during new landscape construction and can also retrofit it into established gardens where access allows. It often forms the final connection between Planting, Turf Installation and paved paths.

Steel rings define raised planting areas while bluestone steppers sit within a gravel pathway. The defined bed edges give the planting its own space and establish a clear relationship between the planted areas and the walking route.

The warm brick and flowing edges help connect the materials. This is a garden-edge example, not a claim that decorative edging can replace a structural retaining wall.

Steel edging is more durable, cleaner-looking, and handles curves better than timber. FormBoss in particular holds its edge without lifting or warping over time.
Yes. Edging can be retrofitted into an established garden with minimal disruption to surrounding planting or lawn.
Steel edging is essentially maintenance-free once installed. It won't rot, warp, or lift under normal conditions, and develops a natural patina over time.
